“Un dizionario di cultura popolare resta chiuso da una piccola roccia su cui sono appuntati degli enormi spilli. Sono elementi che utilizzo spesso, gli spilli che possono al tempo stesso cucire o pungere, e il libro, contenitore silenzioso finchè non viene aperto. In questo caso si intravede solo parte delle copertina, dove una pin-up ammicca come al solito.
Nel titolo “one word one pin” (una parola, uno spillo) davo altri elementi di lettura, dove ho pensato alle parole come spilli, con il loro portato ambiguo di appuntare, esporre dei concetti o, potenzialmente, bucarli, strapparli, massacrarli. Un po’ come sulla pelle della pin-up…”

“A dictionary of popular culture is closed by a small rock with huge pins pinned on it: elements that I often use, pins that can at the same time sew or sting, and the book, a silent container until it is opened; you can see only part of the cover, where a pin-up winks as usual.
In the title “one word one pin” I gave other elements for interpretations, where I thought of words like pins, with their ambiguous bearing of pinning, exposing concepts or potentially puncturing, tearing, slaughtering them. A little like on the skin of the pin-up … “
